Strata Clotheslines Supply and Installation Northern Beaches
Remove old washing lines and install new fold down clotheslines in strata units.
We recently installed three Austral fold down clotheslines in a block of strata units in Queenscliff on the Northern Beaches Sydney.
We received a call from the Strata Manager of a block of strata units in Queenscliff (Northern Beaches, Sydney). The Body Corporate had recently held its Annual General Meeting and it was decided they needed to replace their old rotary washing lines.
We asked the Strata Manager to send us photos of the current clotheslines so we could get an idea of the space available and, importantly, the aspect and sunshine.
After receiving the photos we contacted the Strata Manager with the suggestion that the old rotary washing lines be replaced with three Austral fold down clotheslines. Rather than affixing them to the building, we suggested we ground mount them using our height-adjustable clothesline ground mounting kits.
A bit advantage of Austral fold down clotheslines is that they can be cut to size. To fit the new washing lines along the wall, side by side, our Northern Beaches clotheslines installer trimmed the width of each clothesline. By doing so, the residents now enjoyed a lot more useable outdoor space that had been previously taken by the former rotary clotheslines. Additionally, if the residents want more space, the new clotheslines can be very easily folded down.

After completing this installation of the new clotheslines, our Northern Beaches clotheslines installer removed the old rotary washing lines and took them away for recycling.

Austral Standard Fold Down Clothesline
The Standard Fold Down Austral Clothesline has a single frame and is available in Classic Cream, Surfmist and Woodland Grey. A range of Colourbond colours are available on request (Black, Dune, Heritage Green, Monument, Paperbark, Shale Grey Wallaby, White). Austral fold-down clotheslines can be cut down to fit smaller spaces or fit a number of separate clotheslines within a dedicated space.
Dimensions
Size: 2.4m wide x 1.5m deep. Area required: 2.5m x 1.8m.
Line Space: The standard has 12 lines with 28.5m of line space.
Line spacing: 13.5cm for wider spacing or 6.5cm for narrower spacing.
