Our ground mount kits include:

• 2 upright posts and back support bar
• Fasteners to secure your Austral fold down clothesline
• Optional plated mount kits for fixing to hard surfaces

Austral’s new Multi-Punched Ground Mount Kit allows for flexible height adjustment

• Ideal for DIY installations
• Perfect for retirement and tenanted facilities – where resident’s height differs
• Builder installations – where resident’s height is unknown

Please note: the back bar may be reduced to length to fit into shorter spaces during installation, if required. The installer will need to cut excess off one end of the back bar and drill 1 hole. The fold down front bar(s) will also need to be reduced in length.

Ground Mount Kit Dimensions

UNPLATED : Suitable for inground installations
Dimensions: 2430mm(W) x 2370mm(H).
Fixing points are 2400mm (C-C).
Depth will vary according to fold down clothesline model selected.

PLATED : Suitable for hard surface fixing (i.e. cement slab or decking)
Dimensions: 2500mm(W) x 150mm(D) x 1860mm(H).
Post plate dimensions: 100mm(W) x 150mm(L) x 6mm Thick.
Fixings required: 2 x M6 x 40mm (minimum length) anchor bolts for each plated post.

Returns : You have seven (7) calendar days to return an item from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.  Your item must be in the same packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. Delivery Locations : We deliver to all Metro Areas on the East Coast and in South Australia. Outer-lying areas, including Far North and Regional Queensland, Regional NSW, Regional Victoria, and Regional South Australia, are partly services by our couriers however we are limited by their delivery zones. If you would like to check if we can deliver to you, prior to purchase, feel free to contact us.  When ordering clotheslines, letterboxes and spare parts from our website, you will not be told if you are out of area when you check out via the shopping cart.  If you are out of our delivery zones, our friendly team will be in touch to provide some alternatives.

Free Shipping: The free shipping policy offered on our website is for delivery to most major cities. Unfortunately, some transport company’s door-to-door services are not available in all regional areas.  Please be aware that you may have to pick up your order from the transport company’s closest depot, or incur an additional delivery charge (if the transport company’s policy extends to this service).
